What is 13: Jack Hunt?
13: Jack Hunt is a free mobile card game for 2–6 players. Each hand lays out 5 cards; you place your pawn straight (safe) or reversed (the Jack hunt). Play reversed and find the Jack under a face-down card for a big score; first to reach 13 points wins. Developed by Atekian.
Is the game free?
Yes, the game is completely free and contains ads. Ads only appear between games, never in the middle of a hand. An optional one-time purchase removes interstitial ads. Nothing that affects gameplay is ever sold: purchases are visual only (themes, card decks, pawn skins) and never change your odds of winning.
How many players can play?
Between 2 and 6 players. You can pass one phone around the table, play solo against bots, play with friends via an invite code, or use Quick Play to match with strangers.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Pass-and-play on one device and games against bots work fully offline. Only the online modes (invite code and Quick Play) need an internet connection.
Can I play with strangers?
Yes. "Quick Play" puts you in a queue and seats you at a 4-player table with other people playing at that moment. To be straight with you: if there are not enough people in the queue, empty seats are filled with bots after a wait of about 20 seconds. Humans are always preferred over bots — the bots are only there so the table does not keep you waiting.
Do I need an account?
No, it is not required. The game gives you an anonymous identifier on first launch and never asks for your name, email, or phone number. You can optionally link your account to Apple or Google — that is not a login wall but insurance for your progress. Without linking, your coins, cosmetics, and statistics live only on that device.
Is there any gambling or betting?
No. There is no real-money wagering, no chip economy, and nothing that can be cashed out. In-game coins are used only for visual items (themes, card decks, pawn skins) and have no real-world value. It is a social table game built on luck and bluffing.
Is there a leaderboard?
Yes. There are two leaderboards, weekly and monthly; each shows the top 100 plus your own rank. Points accumulate from online matches and every new period starts from zero. Invite matches, where you pick your own opponents, do not count towards the leaderboard.
Are my statistics tracked?
Yes. Your profile accumulates matches played and won, hands played, your straight/reversed choices, successful Jack hunts, your highest single-hand score, and your win streaks — all from online matches. Games played on a single device or against bots are not written to your statistics.
How do I earn coins without paying?
By playing. Finishing a game pays coins, and the first 2 games you finish each day pay double. On top of that there is a daily streak on a 7-day cycle with bonus coins on days 3, 5 and 7, plus daily missions and Nazif Usta’s weekly missions. You can also watch a rewarded ad if you want to. Coins only buy visual items — never an advantage.
What is my "table style"?
A short label the game works out from your last 20 online matches — how often you go reversed, how often the Jack hunt pays off. It appears on your public profile so other players get a feel for how you play. Only the label is public; the match summary behind it stays private, and it needs a handful of matches before it appears.
Can I move my progress to another phone?
If you linked your account with Apple or Google, yes: sign in on the new device and your coins, cosmetics, nickname, and statistics come with you. If you did not link, no — a guest identity lives only on that device and cannot be recovered if you delete the app or switch devices.
How do I change my nickname?
From the profile screen. The first nickname is free with no waiting period; later changes cost 200 coins and can be made once every 7 days. Nicknames are unique (no two players can hold the same one) and visible to everyone on the leaderboard — which is why we recommend not using your real name.
Is the game fair, and is cheating prevented?
In online matches, dealing, rule enforcement, and scoring all happen on the server; no one’s device can see the face-down cards or write its own score. In a dispute, the server record prevails. If you miss your turn, the server makes a safe move on your behalf so the table is not held up.
How does online play with friends work?
You create a room and share its 6-digit invite code; friends who enter the code join your table. No account needed. Empty seats can optionally be filled with bots. Because you choose your own opponents, these matches do not count towards the leaderboard.
Can I play alone?
Yes. You can play against bots with three difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard). The Hard bot genuinely does the math: it plays cautiously when ahead and takes risks when behind.
What does “playing reversed” mean?
Placing your pawn flipped over means you are hunting the Jack that hand. If your face-down card turns out to be the Jack, you score +5; any other card costs you points (Queen −1, King −2, Ace −3). High risk, high reward.
Why do points double when the center card is a Jack?
The deck holds 2 Jacks. With one showing in the center, at most 1 Jack remains in the corners, so the hunt is harder. To balance it, reversed scores are doubled that hand: finding the Jack pays +10, and the penalties double too.
Can I just play safe every hand?
No — you may play straight at most 2 hands in a row; on the third hand a reversed play is mandatory. This fairness rule stops anyone from farming risk-free points forever and keeps the tension alive for everyone.
How long does a game take?
Most games finish in 8–11 hands; a typical game runs 10–15 minutes. More players means shorter games.
Which platforms is it on?
It is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play), on both phones and tablets. Download links are on the home page.
Which languages are supported?
Turkish and English. The game follows your device’s system language automatically.
How do I delete my account and data?
From inside the app: Profile → Account and data → “Delete my account and data”. Deletion is immediate and irreversible; your nickname is released, and your statistics and leaderboard entries from all periods are removed. The account deletion page has the full walkthrough and the list of what is not deleted.
Can it be played with real cards?
Yes — the game was born at a real table of friends. Pull 2 Kings, 2 Aces, 2 Queens and 2 Jacks from a standard deck and give each player a token with two distinct faces. All rules are on the “How to Play” page.
